Anthony’s Story
When a child is born, there are hopes and dreams for the future. Often times when a child has been diagnosed with a condition like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), families feel uncertainty, and maybe even despair about the future of their child.
ISAND is not just in the business of providing leading edge therapies to children with ASD, we are also in the business of providing HOPE to their families. Here’s a story that we heard from a parent of a teen with ASD
For years we’ve been concerned that Anthony will have nowhere to go and nothing meaningful to do when he finishes school. Through his involvement with ISAND, we see Anthony grow and flourish and we now realize that there are possibilities for him after highschool. ISAND has given us hope and direction for the future.

Bring hope to a family living with autism this Giving Tuesday
Today is Giving Tuesday a global day of giving, including Canada, when citizens, charities and businesses come together to celebrate the work being done by charities and non-profits. We are asking you today to participate in Giving Tuesday by making a gift to ISAND.
Whether Giving Tuesday is the end of your 2020 giving or the start of your 2021 giving year, any contribution that you provide to ISAND will have a significant impact on the lives of people who are looking for HOPE. Donations received prior to December 31, 2020 will result in a 2020 tax receipt for the donor.
ISAND’s impact doesn’t stop at providing integrated and highly successful therapy to people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). ISAND also provides HOPE to families for a brighter future as their loved one gains new skills and develops their abilities.

Liam’s Story
As you know 2020 has been a year that has brought unprecedented stress and anxiety to people around the world, including here in Toronto. Many people have expressed a sense of hopelessness and despair. Since 2013 ISAND has worked to provide therapy to children and HOPE to families. This year, the need to find HOPE is even greater, and with your gift we can continue to support families like Liam’s.
ISAND gave my son a future – and hope to our family. The days, weeks and months that followed Liam’s diagnosis of ASD were the most heartbreaking, gut wrenching, emotionally draining, and tear-soaked times of our lives. ISAND’s therapists have been nothing short of amazing. Liam’s progress has been incredible, and our family has HOPE for a brighter future.
This is one of many stories that we hear from our families. Last year alone we helped more than five hundred children and their families. With your gift, we can continue to provide HOPE to those in need.
